Katie Godowski is a creative and driven NYC based photographer with 10 years of experience delivering impactful imagery across diverse industries, including families, politicians, non-profits, and corporations. Specializing in visual storytelling, she crafts narratives that resonate with audiences and elevate marketing strategies. Shaped by overcoming a learning difference that once hindered her ability to fully express herself verbally, she transformed this challenge into a strength—using her lens to capture powerful emotions and moments that transcend words, bringing stories to life through authentic, high-quality visuals.
In 2021, Katie took on the role of Social Media Coordinator for NYC Protest Coverage, an Instagram account dedicated to showcasing photographers’ images from protests and breaking news events. Under her guidance, the account has grown by 45,000 followers in the past four years, thanks to her timely posting and commitment to providing real-time coverage. Additionally, Katie has been involved in content creation for You Are Not Alone Murals, a non-profit that uses street art to raise awareness of mental health issues in local communities. With a deep passion for both visual storytelling and social change, Katie strives to create images that resonate, inspire, and spark meaningful conversations.
When Katie is not photographing whats happening in the world, she’s often exploring around New York City finding street art, the perfect gluten free donut or exploring different parks.
